Stop by the Tartan Day tent to buy your button - $1, as always - and support our April 6, 2005 Tartan Day celebration. With any luck you may also get a piece of birthday cake! MN TARTAN DAY COORDINATOR POSITION AVAILABLE!!! Wanted, high energy, self starting, passionate person to take over as Tartan Day Coordinator to replace Barbara Humphrey who is retiring after six years in the job. Work out of home office, set your own hours, pay is in the form of personal satisfaction and enthusiastic appreciation. Begin April 7, 2004 or anytime after that depending on availability. Email babsfayth@aol.com As of this writing, no one has come forward willing to take over the Tartan Day Celebration here in Minnesota. Growing over the last 6 years to one of the biggest and most enthusiastic Tartan Day celebrations in the US it would be a tragedy of major proportions if this celebration were not to continue. Several prospective candidates have been approached, but, as yet, no one able to take it on. Given that we are in our 7th year, many of the arrangements are in place and require only phone calls to confirm 2005 plans. From the outside looking in it may seem a daunting task, but it is doable - maybe by you? 2004 will be hard to top, but who knows what next year will bring. Probable 2005 dates (put it on your calendar now): Tartan Day Ball April 2 or 9 The Capitol Celebration April 6, 2005 - ABOUT THE SNIM - ******************* If you have upcoming events, news, or announcements you would like included in future issues, please send the information to us and we will publish in the next issue.
